The scheduled Stand Up America Now Rally at UC Irvine was not permitted to take place today. Dr Terry Jones and Wayne Sapp's First Amendment Constitutional rights were clearly violated. Upon arrival at the Campus for scheduled interviews and the Rally, they were confronted by the UC Irvine Police Department and by order of the University Cancellor, threatened with arrest. They were each issued citations and warned that if they came on Campus within the next 7 days, they would be arrested.

Supporters of Dr Jones, along with Rabbi Nachum Shifren were escorted off Campus and portions of the University shut down in order to prevent the Rally and any possible counter protest to the Rally from taking place. Law abiding United States Citizens were prevented from speaking there peacefully.

Dr Terry Jones and Wayne Sapp will pursue legal action against the University, a publically funded, so called "Free Speech" Campus.

The time has come in America for us to take a stand.  It is time for us to take back our country. The Muslim Student Union founded by the Muslim Brotherhood is allowed to operate freely on this Campus. They are permitted to use the statements "Death to America" and "Death to Israel" clearly promoting violence and encouraging violent acts.

This is why we at Stand Up America Now went there, to answer that threat and to draw a very clear line of warning, whether it be in California at this University, or anywhere else in America, where there is a threat from Islam or a threat from any other source.
