Regarding the shooting in Tucson...
As of this moment,
there is no sense to be made from the senseless shooting in
Tucson...except for this...where was the security? Doesn't "Congress on
your corner", deserve a cop or 2 nearby? Shouldn't our government be
smart enough to know, it should always provide security for a
congressman, at publicly announced events? Once again, our big expensive
government, is guilty of not doing it's job!
Over the weekend, many of the talking heads were attempting to explain why this guy acted out...they were making links between this and that, but were mostly wrong...this guy will be determined to be a nut, with enough of a record, that should have kept him from purchasing that gun, just 3 months ago! Once again, the agencies in charge dropped the ball and another gun sale was made to a mentally disturbed individual...but will that be his defense and will it fly? Probably!
