The problem with today's congress is simple...
I have thought about this for years...
and have now concluded this...that congress behaves the way it does, simply to achieve a majority vote. There are many in congress, who use common sense to achieve their goals. Quite often, you will see these speakers using no script and speaking from the heart. The other group, who are also trying to achieve a majority vote, are at a disadvantage. Common sense is what tells you if something is wrong with your proposal. So they can't use common sense. However, that does not stop them from implying common sense by stating common sense facts, along with their caveat that will tug you their way a little. This is the same group that funds their constituents, or, buy votes with our money! Isn't this illegal and wouldn't stopping this tactic remove the choke hold, or should I say, boot from the neck of congress? HUSTUSA
