the scariest letter of your life...
Dear Fellow Conservative:
The letter will arrive in a long white envelope postmarked Washington, D.C.
Inside, you'll be informed that, because of your age and in accordance
with new U.S. healthcare policy (Obamacare), it is now time to discuss
your "advance care options" with government "healthcare planning consultants."
Your letter will also advise that henceforth every five years -- or sooner if you're diagnosed with a serious illness -- this panel of government-selected doctors and experts will "assist" you in making further medical decisions.
Are you outraged yet? Keep reading, it gets worse...
Who will these doctors and so-called "experts" be? Perhaps some of them will be colleagues of Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, brother of White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel and a key formulator of Obamacare.
Dr. Emanuel has some pretty scary ideas about healthcare and how it
should be rationed. The good doctor doesn't actually say "healthcare
rationing" -- he prefers "healthcare allocation." But it means exactly the same thing.
Nor does Dr, Emanuel admit he's in favor of "death panels." (A term Sarah Palin has been excoriated for using.) Instead he chooses to call it "end of life consultation."
If that sounds like a bunch of government bureaucrats making life or
death decisions about people other than themselves, it's because that's
exactly what it is.
Shocked? My friend, that's just the tip
of the iceberg. The lies and deceptions President Obama and his liberal
backers are telling us about Obamacare run deep and dangerous,
submerged beneath an ocean of government double-speak.
There are many more reasons why this monstrous, evil plan must be stopped.
If Obamacare passes... - MEDICARE WILL BE SLASHED.
To pay for his government healthcare behemoth, Obama admits he'll have
to cut $500 billion from Medicare. How can he chop that much without
reducing medical services to seniors? He can't. It's fiscally
impossible. Medicare services will have to be cut.
- YOU'LL LOSE YOUR CURRENT COVERAGE. Truth is, Obama's plan is designed to eliminate
employer coverage. He's acknowledged it, but only to fellow liberals.
When the "public option" forces private insurers out of the market,
odds are you'll be shoved into a government plan.
- YOU'LL LOSE YOUR CURRENT DOCTOR.
Once the government plan is reality and you've been forced to
participate, it's a virtual certainty you'll lose your doctor. In fact,
the more skilled your physician is, the more likely he or she will shun
working for the government. Obamacare won't take your doctor away.
Obamacare will drive your doctor away.
- ILLEGALS WILL GET FREE HEALTHCARE.
Despite what Obama says, none of the Democratic bills prohibits
coverage for illegal aliens and all Republican attempts to exclude such
coverage for illegals have been rejected.
- OBAMACARE WILL BANKRUPT AMERICA.
Universal healthcare will add at least $1 trillion to the already
mind-boggling deficit. Obama claims "eliminating waste and fraud" will
save money -- a laughable assertion, since when has the government ever
decreased its spending? In the end, Obama will slash Medicare and raise
taxes, pleading he had no choice.
- OBAMACARE WILL PAY FOR ABORTIONS. Obama calls this a "lie." But all Democratic plans call for payments for "reproductive services,"
a well-known euphemism for abortion. Plus, Obama's minions in Congress
have rebuffed all amendments prohibiting coverage for abortions. You be
the judge. What are the Democrats trying to hide?

slow-moving, red-tape-clogged government hell-holes you've come to
dread. Do you want to be treated at the doctor's office with the same
indifference you've come to expect from the DMV?
