This letter from a U.S. Army Commander in Iraq was very inspirational.  He thanked us for the "Candy Diplomacy" Jelly Belly candies we send with the care packages (for our troops to deliver to the children of Iraq... they include a message wishing them a future full of freedom - and the message is printed in both English & Arabic).  He went on to write: "Your care packages continue to improve our morale and remind us that we have great support back home."

Note in this letter the gratitude shown by those who have received care packages from fellow Americans such as yourself:  "I'm glad there are supporters like you still looking out for guys like me.  I want you to know that every little note or every package we get brings a smile to our faces."

This letter from a U.S. Marine Captain serving in Fallujah moved us deeply.  In the letter Captain Anzeveno writes: "The finest men and women from our beloved country stood up, raised their hands, and shipped off in pursuit of providing this dream  to a culture that was oppressed for years and deprived the smallest freedoms... Along my relatively short path in the Marine Corps I have come across the finest Americans that our country has produced and I stand today a better man, father, and American because of the dedication to the Red, White and Blue that has been portrayed in front of my own eyes in times of extreme adversity by these men."
